Aeronav Academy
Aeronav Academy was established 35 years ago as an Aviation Training Academy providing ground school lectures to aspiring commercial pilots and was accredited by the South African Civil Aviation Authority as a Flight Training School in 2005. We operate a varied fleet of aircraft, including Diamond DA20s, Cessna 182s and a Diamond Twinstar Multi-engine. This allows us to accommodate training from the private pilot licence (PPL) through to the airline transport pilot licence (ATPL).
Over the years, we have established ourselves as a reputable, highly skilled training academy and have recently branched out into a Flight Training School using modern, glass cockpit, composite aircraft.
Our aim is to provide our clients with safe, quality training in modern aircraft and a ground school staffed with highly qualified lecturers and specialists in their field. Whether you choose to fly just for pleasure as a private pilot or whether you wish to make aviation your career, we can provide you with an approved course tailored to your needs.

Foster Aero
The Foster Aero Training Academy was established in 1994 to service the needs of Foster Aero aircraft customers and the needs of the Foster Aero Charter division.
We have, by choice, remained a small and boutique training company where our students receive a level of individualised attention not readily available from larger organisations.
Foster Aero Training Academy is situated at Lanseria International Airport, which is used by charter companies, other flight schools, general aviation companies as well as some commercial airlines. You will train in a busy, challenging environment which will enable you to get accustomed to real world air traffic from a 24 hour manned Air Traffic Control Centre.

Lanseria Flight Centre offers the most comprehensive training manuals and lecturers; and offers a professional Commercial Course. The PPL and CPL ground courses are presented during the evenings and over weekends to accommodate both professional students (who need to maximise their flying time during the day) and part-time students.

43 Advanced Training provides commercial and private pilots with state-of-the-art training. Amongst a host of courses, we offer Crew Resource Management (CRM); Safety and Emergency Procedures Training (SEPT); Dangerous Goods Training; and Simulator-based type rating conversions. Our courses are modular, thus allowing you the flexibility to undertake training that satisfies your organisation's operational requirements.

43 Advanced Training use a handpicked group of instructors that are active airline, contract or corporate pilots with extensive instruction experience. The majority of our instructors hold Designated Flight Examiner status!

WITS Flying Club
The history of Wits Flying Club dates back to the late 1960s as a sports club at Wits University. Wits Flying Club initially operated through Avex Air with Wits students getting discounts on aircraft hire and instruction rates.
Over the years since inception in the late 1960s Wits Flying Club has trained numerous airline, commercial pilots and instructors. Many current airline captains were trained at Wits Flying Club.
