Airport Technical Specifications

Lanseria International Airport complies with all the stringent standards set by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).  The airport also regularly exceeds the requirements set by the SA Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).

All the relevant government departments such as Immigration, Border Police (SAPS), SARS (Customs and Excise), Health, Nature Conservation, Agriculture, National Intelligence and Veterinarian Services are also represented at the airport.  For the transportation of live animals, animal products and agricultural products, prior notification is required.
